Quiste Suprarrenal

Las lesiones de las glándulas suprarrenales son poco frecuentes. Uno de los motivos para indicar sonografias renales y de suprarrenales en todos los pacientes con Hipertensión Arterial Sistémica es rastrear la posibilidad de lesiones en uno o en otro órgano. En este caso la paciente femenina de 54 años de edad, con una rica historia de patologías mostraba lesiones en los riñones ( Riñones Poliquisticos & Insuficiencia renal Crónica ).La suprarrenal derecha , donde se apreciaba la presencia de quiste tabicado y con material ecogeno en su interior ( que mostramos en las imágenes de abajo ). La historia familiar de la paciente mostraba Hipertensión Arterial de la madre y en cuatro de los nueve hermanos ( 4/9 ) lo cual ligaba perfectamente con el carácter hereditario de estas enfermedades. Además padece de Artritis y su analítica ( urea y creatinina elevadas ) y la apariencia de los riñones confirmaban el cuadro de Insuficiencia Renal Crónica que padecía.

Adrenal Cyst

Injuries to the adrenal glands are rare. One of the reasons to indicate renal and adrenal sonography in all patients with Systemic Arterial Hypertension is to track the possibility of lesions in one or another organ. In this case, the 54-year-old female patient, with a rich history of pathologies, showed lesions in the kidneys (Polycystic Kidneys & Chronic Renal Insufficiency). The right adrenal, where the presence of a septate cyst and echogenic material in its interior (which we show in the pictures below). The patient's family history showed Arterial Hypertension in the mother and in four of the nine siblings (4/9), which was perfectly linked to the hereditary nature of these diseases. He also suffers from Arthritis and his laboratory tests (elevated urea and creatinine) and the appearance of the kidneys confirmed the picture of Chronic Renal Insufficiency that he suffered.
